Mahindra is all set to upscale the excitement of the Indian SUV market with the soon-to-be-launched, facelifted XUV700. This new version should bring a design revision along with the latest technology and comfort features with the base model expected to cost somewhere around ₹15lakh. The facelift should ensure that the XUV700 remains competitive with rivals such as the Tata Safari, MG Hector and Hyundai Alcazar.
Design and Premium Interior

The exterior has also been subtly, but evidently, updated. The front grille & bumper are revamped with a meaner, contemporary look. The headlamps also now get dualpod LED projectors for more visibility and a premium looking front end. Fresh alloy wheels and subtle tweaks to the air dams round off the redesigned, rugged appearance of the SUV.
Engine, Power & Performance
Powering the updated XUV700 are likely to be the same petrol and diesel engines, which have so far proven reliable in terms of performance on this model. While settings could change, the SUV is expected to have power and efficiency in equal measure, thus being good for both city driving and long highway trips. No significant mechanical updates are expected, though Mahindra might make some slight adjustments to the engines for better ride comfort and fuel economy.
