Royal Enfield stole the show at the prestigious EICMA 2025 Motorcycle Show in Milan with a global reveal of its most recent adventure masterpiece — the Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition. The Shadow 450 SS is a more sinister and upmarket take on the already popular Himalayan 450, combining a heritage appeal with rugged performance in an aggressive looking package.
As reported by ‘The Ayodhya Times’ automotive journalist Prashant Pathak, this global unveiling is certainly another shining moment for Indian motorcycling on the world stage.
Engine and Performance: Trusted Power with a Confident Feel

A sleek blacked-out proposition, the Mana Black Edition houses the trusted 452 cc liquid-cooled engine of the regular Himalayan 450 beneath its sinister skin. Developing close to 40 bhp and torque output of almost 40 Nm, it offers a smooth pull over all type of terrains.
With a six-speed transmission, ride-by-wire throttle and the ability for highway cruising or taking down dirt trails, this is one motor that provides crisp response on the throttle but remains smooth on upshifts all while drinking less gas than your typical V-8.
Suspension and Ride Quality That Make Every Terrain Conquerable
To ensure stability on rough terrains, the Mana Black gets Showa USD front forks and a rear monoshock from Royal Enfield. Its 21-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel are well suited for rocky trails and soft sand.
The 17-litre tank ensures riders can go for a longer stretch without the need to stop and refuel, while at 196 kg’s kerb weight this bike is perfectly poised to offer control and prompt response in varying terrains yet still kick back comfortably when cruising highways — perfect for those who prefer off-road riding.
Why the Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition Stood Out at EICMA 2025
Showcased at Milan’s EICMA 2025, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mana Black was one of the most popular motorcycles at the event. Its brooding looks and raucous nature symbolized the transition of Royal Enfield from rock solid classic design to a modern, adventure-ready beast.
The motorcycle received rave reviews from enthusiasts and media alike across Europe for its factory-ready adventure kit, refined engine and premium build quality which only goes on to demonstrate that Indian motorcycling expertise is being appreciated more by the global riders!
