This digital deception started with a woman named Archita Phukan, a young woman from Assam, India. Her ex-boyfriend, Pratim Bora, a mechanical engineer, used her old photograph and created an entirely fake digital persona: Babydoll Archi.
Armed with generative AI tools like Midjourney, Desire AI, and OpenArt, Pratim fabricated hundreds of sexually suggestive and porn-style images—none of which Archita had ever posed for.
